New dictionary

I just received my new electronic dictionary from sensei.The price is about RM660 but it's worth buying.The dictionary has 16 main functions,including calculator and english-english Oxford dictionary.I found that the manual book is thicker than the dictionary itself.Guess what,the manual is written in Japanese too.So in order to learn japanese,I have to learn how to use my electronic dictionary,which I have to read the manual first,and before reading the manual,I need to learn japanese.Finally I got trapped in a infinite loop.
